Grants manager for international projects

YOUR MISSION

Do you want to promote local journalism and support media professionals in exile acrossin Europe? Do you love to design and develop projects, write project proposals liaise with strategic partners across borders?

You will work in close coordination with CORRECTIV’s Head of Partnerships to research suitable funding opportunities for our international projects, especially CORRECTIV.Europe and CORRECTIV.Exile. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting applications, including draft budgets, milestone planning and timelines, as well as review incoming grant agreements and advise implementing project teams on grant conditions. You will handle communications with existing donors and potential consortium partners in close coordination with both department directors on expanding the scope of our international activities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least two years of professional experience in grant-writing, ideally practical experience in preparing and/or managing applications to the European Commission
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the funding landscape in Europe, networks with comparable organizations desirable
  • Experienced in dealing with administrative tasks such as budget preparation and contract review
  • You enjoy working in a young, dynamic team and an exciting, fast-paced environment 
  • You excel in analytical thinking, love to show initiative and are reliable and structured in your approach
  • High level of communication skills and self-organization
  • High level of proficiency in English required, advanced German language skills and other languages and specialized regional expertise are an advantage
  • Very high level of identification with the values and goals of CORRECTIV
